Data Wash & Bank Reconciliation
Two new ways to keep Maconomy master data clean and close the books with less manual matching.
Keep your Maconomy master data clean, and close your books with less manual matching.
As we continue to expand the capabilities of VOLI Data, we're introducing new ways to address two familiar challenges: maintaining reliable master data, and making bank reconciliation easier.
Keep your Maconomy data clean with VOLI Data Wash
Data Wash helps you keep your Maconomy master data clean, current and trustworthy.
It checks your Maconomy master data against official company registries and Maconomy's own activity data, identifies what is wrong and how serious it is, and allows corrections to be written back to Maconomy.
Get a complete overview of your data
From the Data Status dashboard, you get an overview across your master data – including records analyzed, open findings, the share of your data that is clean, and how many records are affected.
Findings are divided into clean, needs review, and critical, making it easier to see where attention is needed and where to start.
Data Wash covers different areas of your Maconomy data:
- Customers and vendors. Company data is matched against the official national registry.
- Employees. Identify work that is still assigned to people who have left the company.
- Jobs. Identify projects with no activity for a long time, check whether anything remains uninvoiced, and understand what is keeping them open.
Make Bank Reconciliation in Maconomy easier
Bank Reconciliation brings transactions from your bank and posted bank lines from Maconomy together in one place, giving you a clear view of both sides of the reconciliation.
VOLI Data retrieves the data, compares the transactions, and automatically matches entries with the same date and amount. This reduces the need to manually compare every transaction and makes it easier to identify the entries that still require attention.
Focus on what's important
With matching transactions automatically identified, you can focus on the exceptions that still require attention.
If a transaction appears on the bank side without a corresponding posted line in Maconomy, it can quickly be identified and handled before completing the reconciliation.
Bank data can be retrieved through BankConnect and Open Banking and connected to the relevant accounts in VOLI Data.
From the Bank Reconciliation overview, you can see account balances, connection status, statement dates, and latest imports.
Once all transactions for the period have been handled, the statement can be reconciled and the reconciliation period completed in Maconomy. Previous statements remain available, and a new statement can then be created for the next period.
Make everyday processes easier with VOLI Data
Data Wash and Bank Reconciliation address different areas of your Maconomy setup, but share the same goal: less manual work, better visibility, and more efficient day-to-day processes with VOLI Data.
